Fashion Revolution Fanzine #2 – Call For Submissions!

Fashion Revolution is now accepting submissions for edition #002 of its fanzine, on the theme “Loved Clothes Last”. In the three years since the campaign was founded to commemorate the Rana Plaza factory disaster in Bangladesh, the movement to push for greater transparency in the fashion industry has become truly global, with 70,000 people asking #whomademyclothes in 2016 and the first fanzine launching in January of this year.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The next highly-anticipated fanzine will launch in October 2017 and explore the issue of waste in the fashion industry. The aim is to inspire readers to “buy less, care more, and know how to make the clothes they love last for longer”, through articles, photographs, poetry, bold graphics and innovative future solutions.

Fanzine #001, "Money Fashion Power"

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

1. Get creative! Imagine the future of fashion waste, get inspired by opportunities along the supply chain, celebrate a piece you could never throw away in your own ‘love story’ or nominate your favourite innovators, researchers, academics and designers who are tackling this topic head on.

2. Submit your pieces for consideration to photo@fashionrevolution.org by July 8th, including your full name, website link/Instagram for credits and any caption information. Maximum 800 words for written pieces, images must be high resolution (300dpi at A4).

3. Chosen work will be notified in August. Find more details and ideas on the Fashion Revolution site.

Good luck!!
